About the programme

During the Global Project and Change Management programme you will tackle important and complex issues, together with students from all over the world. You will work on real-life projects provided by local and international companies or research institutes. You will effectively combine theory and practice, and search for innovative sustainable solutions from a social, economic and technological position. You will gain a global network during your studies and internships. This will thoroughly prepare you for your future career. And above all, you will contribute to a livable future from the very first day of your study!

You work on assignments and challenges related to the themes of energy and water. Study at HZ

Minor in the Netherlands or abroad

You have the opportunity to take a six-month minor. A minor is a semester period in which you are able to choose to either deepen or broaden your knowledge and skills. This can be with a minor programme offered at HZ, at a university of applied sciences in the Netherlands, or at one of the many partner universities abroad.

Graduation internship in the Netherlands or abroad

In year 4, you will gain hands-on experience through a 20-week internship at an organisation of your choice, anywhere in the world. You spend about three days a week working in the organisation and one day on a smaller, individual project, giving you a real feel for the professional environment. In the second semester, you conduct your graduation research, either at the same organisation or another one, in the Netherlands or abroad. This is your moment to show your development as a Global Project and Change Manager, by focusing on an in-depth, individual research project.

Entry requirements

There are three 3 different requirements for your admission: 1. General requirements: Diploma Equal to Dutch HAVO, determined by Nuffic (Organisation for International Education in the Netherlands.) To see if you would be admissible, check the list of foreign diplomas on our website: www.hz.nl/requirements. 2. Specific study programme requirements Depending on your chosen programme, you may need to meet additional requirements. Check www.hz.nl/requirements for additional requirements. 3. Language requirements As an international student you might need to submit an official English language certificate, proving you have a sufficient command of written and spoken English. Your level of English needs to have an equivalent of the IELTS score of 6.0. For exemptions to this language requirement, see www.hz.nl/requirements.
